Had an elk cow stuck in a cattle fence.
Once we cut it free it wouldn't move and its hind left leg had a deeper wound. We consulted with Colorado Parks & Wildlife and were ready to put it down, but it got up and first struggled than ran away with a normal gait.
It cleared another fence, then rested and finnaly moved on.
In the situation I didn't take a picture the one here is from a video I took when she moved away.
