Dry Falls - wet rock, in crevice
Allegheny mountain buttercup possibly?
This took me a while to try to put an ID on it. I think it's Allegheny mountain buttercup.
Growing on Leucothoe branch hanging over spraycliff.
DuPont State Forest, NC, USA
aff.
On a dry limestone bluff, no tubers found, specimen collected. Some question about debile vs dioicum, leaf size, habitat, and overall height keyed to debile- and honestly I'd have called it debile but for the lack of tubers.
