Several large plants growing within heavily petrel / prion burrowed ground near main access track to landing. These plants appeared at this site about five years ago. Another population occurs at the southern end of the Landing Bay. The race of L. featherstonii on Rangatira is much larger than the race I have seen at Kaiangaroa Point (Rekohu (Chatham Island)) and at Western Reef (see http://naturewatch.org.nz/observations/1436441).
