Tons of bullfrogs.
Is the red normal?! I’m worried I injured it…
copeland creek
Found by turtle pond at Pepperwood Preserve. There were hundreds in the area and each frog was about 2cm long.
Frog or toad?
I managed to capture and hold a Chorus Frog, when I was out exploring Turtle Pond with my group. The Chorus Frog was very small, felt very wet and were very jumpy. They all hung around the wet gassy area of the pond, near the water, and majority of them were in the water or hidden in the grass.
Was found at turtle pond, about the size of a dime and was pretty mellow. It didn’t try to jump out of my hand or anything.
I came across a Chorus Frog, while out revisiting Turtle Pond with my hiking group. It had a slim waist, felt very slippery, looked to be the size of my pinky, and was green colored. I found the Chorus Frog, blending into the tall grass.
