Extra Credit

Sunday May 9th at about 11am I took my roommate and dear friend Anna (pronounced Auna) on a long walk around the north end of Burlington to see the birds. It was sunny and partially cloudy with a temperature of about 55 F, because we were in the north end we were in a more urban setting. Anna does not usually go birding but she does sometimes go fishing with her boyfriend and so this was a new experience for her. Afterwards when I asked her to describe our birding adventure she said "exquisite". I was telling her about the different beak adaptations and also about the birds and their different behaviors which she thought was super interesting.

Field Journal 8

I went birding at 12pm in Monday May 10th, 2021 at pomeroy park in the north end. It was partially sunny with a temperature of about 60 F. This was habitat was a green space surrounded by an urban area, this was especially noticeable with the noise pollution of boys playing basket ball and bumping music.
