Unfortunately, this observation doesn't show the features normally used for Callirhoe identification, but after having looked at thousands of these things, the erect, stout looking stem is highly indicative of C. leiocarpa. At the very least, it shouldn't be research grade. It won't help much for this observation, but tips for identifying Callirhoe in Texas can be found here:
