Fate and the Electronic GPS

I had been searching for the Corunastylis (aka Genoplesium) archeri for about 6 weeks with no luck. I thought I'd missed it as the other Corunastylis sp had appeared and were senescing. My information said that the C. archeri flowered about 2 weeks before these. Then on the latest trip, I found another tiny pocket of Midge orchids. The tiny flowers are about 5mm diameter and only 15cm (6 inches) high and habit dies hard with me so I inspected each flower stem. Three were the long sought after orchid. But my GPS was almost out of charge. . I took the reading and hoped it was recorded truly, which seems to be the case. So third recorded Corunastylis sp for the area. I'm delighted.
