Description

Visual Description: wild bright yellow flower grown on the side of the streets. flowers have three petals. The weed had bright green leaves that had branching networks. the stem holding the flower up was long and skinny, about 3 inched tall. flowers are grown in spread out with sparse flowers.
Defining characteristics: the flowers indicated that the plant is a vascular flowering plant, in other words, this plant is a seed plant. the three petals indicating that this could be a monocot.
Habitat: urban area. this was found on the side of the sidewalk, however, it was wildly grown.
