Campamocha observada sobre las protecciones exteriores de una casa de descanso en el municipio de Nombre de Dios, Dgo. Alrededor de la casa, en el rancho Los Alebrijes, hay abundantes pastos, una huerta de membrillo (Cydonia oblonga), árboles de durazno (Prunus persica), barreras vivas de truenos (Ligustrum sp.), un bambú (Bambusa sp.) y una mora (Maclura sp.)

Description

Chapulines en masa cruzando la Carretera Federal # 45 en los alrededores de Jiménez, Chih. Era imposible transitar sin atropellarlos pues había puntos en los que cubrían ambos carriles en el tramo Parral-Jiménez.

Hábitat: matorral xerófilo.

Relativamente cerca de ahí, en el municipio de de Mapimí, Dgo., hice una observación similar.

There's already a widely used field Insect life stage which has a handy drop-down list of all the life stages. However, sometimes there's more than one stage present in one observation. For these cases, I've also made stand-alone fields for each life stage.

Life stage is now included automatically as an "Annotation", so all these various "life stage fields" have become a bit redundant.
