I live in Te Waipounamu (South Island), Aotearoa (New Zealand). My wife and I are fascinated by all living things, particularly birds, but also spiders, bats, frogs, reptiles, insects and marine life. We love travelling and taking photos of the wildlife we see. Ecuador is probably our favourite country to visit so far - amazing wildlife, kind and generous people and great food (the best soups!). Love Costa Rica too!

I am really enjoying increasing my knowledge on i-Naturalist and hugely appreciate all the people who take the time to share their expert knowledge with identifications.

It is my wish that all of the content I have contributed to iNaturalist (Observations, Identifications, comments, etc) remain on the site in the event of my death.
