I hold a Bachelor of Science majoring in Ecology and Biodiversity and minoring in Environmental Studies from Victoria University of Wellington. I have knowledge of botanical science from working at the WELT Herbarium at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. I am also experienced in ecological restoration field work and have good species identification skills for both native and introduced pest plants.
