I am currently working on a couple of projects looking at changes in the plankton of the inner Hauraki Gulf (taken off Tiri Island wharf) plus monitoring the recent rapid growth of the Zostera seagrass beds off Hobbs Bay on Tiri. I am compiling a list of the species found there as well.
I write articles for Dawn Chorus - the quarterly journal for members of the Supporters of Tirtiri Matangi Island (SoTM).
