Long time bird watcher/birder/ornithologist. Illustrator of the Field Guide to the Birds of NZ by Barrie Heather & Hugh Robertson, illustrator and author of the Helm FG to Albatrosses etc of the World with Paul Scofield and an ID guide to the same for fishermen, albeit dead "bi-catch", with Sandy Bartle, one time curator of birds at Te Papa, NZ. Had a fair bit to do with birds, windfarm and mining applications in the last decade or so and birds and native forest logging many decades ago. Now interested in all that turns up on our 10 or so acres near Waitati NZ and would like to thank all those who have helped ID the non-avian denizens of our home via iNaturalist.
