I live in central Hampshire in southern England, UK, close to some beautiful chalk streams which are the headwaters of the River Itchen. These habitats are threatened by pollution, abstraction for drinking water and development.

As these streams are highly biodiverse habitats, I post observations on a wide range of taxa - but that doesn't mean I have deep knowledge of many of them !
