I am a botanists who has been studying wild plants for about 30 years. Gardening is also a passion of mine and with that I focus on using native plants in the landscape. Currently I teach environmental science at Monmouth University and in the past taught general biology. I visit elementary schools and discuss topics including recycling/composting/nutrient cycling, ethnobotany past and present, and animal diversity.
