The wilderness is my favorite place to be. I live for moments like the time a curious giant pacific octopus touched my foot to say hello. iNaturalist has many helpful people, so thank you for helping me identify. The site has helped me to learn more about living things I come across. I especially like song birds, such as Swainson's Thrush. The sound when it echoes through the tall firs is haunting. My natural knowledge and experiences chiefly encompass my home of British Columbia.
