I am a PhD student studying Biodiversity and Global Change at the Florida Museum of Natural History in the Soltis/Guralnick labs. I grew up in the Sierra Nevadas of California and have a particular love for the mountains, deserts, and oceans. Most of my undergrad at Sierra College and UC Santa Barbara focused on the ecology & evolution of invertebrates, but Im generally curious about how large-scale macro-ecology drives and maintains biodiversity. Currently, I work with museum and community science-driven data to model global change in North America's SW deserts for plants and bees.
