I am enthusiastic naturalist with particular interest in leaf beetles of the subfamilies Cassidinae and Sagrinae. If you have any questions concerning these, do not hesitate to contact me. Also one of my objectives is to study relevant type material to provide as accurate indentifications as possible, although please realize, that Cassidinae are not an easy group and their identification based just on photograph is tricky. Often it is required to study also ventral side of the specimen and other characters in detail. Therefore if the situation permits and you are not against, collect vouchers, which can be properly verified. Most of discutable identifications I consult with my synoptic collection, without which proper identifications would not be possible. In another words the identifications can be as good as the synoptic collection. Therefore I would be extremely grateful for any cassidine material if you have no use for it. Thank you very much :-).
