Originally from Northern England, I am a keen birder, wildlife tracker and all round nature enthusiast. I am the President of Rio Brazos Audubon Society, an eBird reviewer for Cornell University and regularly lead bird identification walks in College Station, central Texas where I am work as a biochemist and cell biologist at Texas A&M University. I am a certified Texas Master Naturalist, have a keen interest in native plants and their ethnobotany and currently hold a level 3 tracker certification in the Cybertracker system with Tracker Certification North America (TCNA). I act as a tracking instructor for The Earth Native School in Bastrop Texas, and participate annually in multiple track & sign certifications across North America.
