I've always been curious about the natural world. One of my fun childhood memories is the excitement I felt when I discovered that pollen came out of the pine tassels decorating our driveway! My desire to learn more led me to attain a Biology degree.

Life led me in another direction for work. Now my exploration of the natural world is a hobby done through the lens of my camera. I am a member of the SC Association of Naturalists (www.scnaturalists.org) and the Carolinas Nature Photographers Association (https://www.cnpa.org/).
