Been a birder since I was eight and grew up and lived in se Pennsylvania until 2019 when I moved to Green Valley, AZ. Got taken prisoner by serious birding in my early teens and remain incarcerated to this day. I did a few things that serious birders get talked into such as being on both the Pennsylvania and Delaware Records Committees, Regional Editor (Eastern Highlands) for North American Birds and serving as editor for the journal Pennsylvania Birds. As a kid I was also interested in insects and that has evolved over time to be more keen on moths, bees/wasps, dragonflies and to a lesser extent butterflies.
