I just finished my PhD from the University of Puerto Rico. My main area of research was in the Guánica Commonwealth Forest working with the Puerto Rican Crested Toad and the Common or Marine Toad.

As a kid, I always enjoyed looking at insects and used to keep tadpoles to see them metamorphose. I really loved the invertebrates class and herpetology class I took as an undergraduate. I would like to know more about birds and reptiles. When I travel, I like to know the new species that are around me and INaturalist has been really important in identifying the organisms that I don’t know.
