I am currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology at Niagara University in western New York. My primary research interests focus on the evolution and ecology of reptiles and amphibians, particularly systematics, speciation, hybridization, and habitat specialization. I received a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University. I've also been a post-doctoral researcher at Rutgers University - Newark, and spent two years as an NSF Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia. I'm interested in and have studied reptiles and amphibians globally, but am most experienced with the herpetofauna of North America, Australia, New Guinea, and Pacific islands.
