Hello! I enjoy going on waterfall hikes (I have visited around 100 so far) and use inaturalist as a way to catalogue some of the special plants I encounter along the way. Though I only consider myself a hobbyist (I have a geoscience degree, App State '23) I think plant ID is something anyone can get into even if they're self-taught like I am. I try to share with others if I can!

I've only recently within the last few years grown to appreciate the gorgeous wildflowers that grow in the area, and the sheer variety and depth of our native flora here in WNC is utterly fascinating to me. It's so much fun!
