I am a specialist in the plant family Costaceae and I have a separate iNaturalist account established for observations of those plants under the user name "Selvadero". This profile -"Selvadero2" - was set up to post observations of other plants and animals which I want to keep separate from the Costaceae.

In 2024 I have started to learn to identify trees for making phenology observations in Nature's Notes. This account on iNaturalist will be used to post photos and botanical details of trees I am observing.
