I work on conservation science & policy for water resources.

Special interests currently:

• spatial & restoration ecology
• impacts of natural hazards and climate change
• nature-based recreational resources and impacts
• disaster recovery processes
• resilience of land-water boundary environments in connection with the above.
• educational, citizen science & community-based approaches to address the science-policy interface

Previously involved with the NatureWatchNZ project which developed new functionality for iNaturalist's open source platform.
