I'm just a nature lover who wants to know what surrounds me and also participate and help with conservation and preservation of species. I have studied a wee bit of biology so I'm familiar with latin names, taxonomy etc, and this is also when I discovered that I have a passion for biology. Unfortunately I was too old to do the full study and become a biologist. I also want a way to get out there and show my 4 year old son the world and help him develop a love and respect for nature. I'm originally from Germany, but have traveled a lot and been living in New Zealand for 14 years now.
