Been interested in nature all my life and love every aspect of it!

Currently studying Wildlife Conservation at college and volunteer with the RSPB. At the moment my project is to re-wild my family sheep farm to maximise biodiversity. 4000 trees are due to go in Autumn 2023 for a new woodland, more hedgerows and scrubland habitat.

Good identification skills in regards to most vertebrate species but improving my identification of inverts as every day goes by.

I started a lifelist of all organism species in early 2021 and now approaching 3000 species. No matter the species I will find interest in it and love helping people identify species and telling them why they are important to the ecosystem.

I avidly search for rare captive species across the UK with hope to travel to Germany and Czechia in the coming years to visit many of their collections. Therefore, I have a broad range of knowledge when it comes to what species are found at different zoos up and down the UK as well as Europe.

I keep a daily nature diary with lifers or other species of note for the day along with other interesting goings on in the natural world.
