I am committed to a lifetime of learning about the organisms that surround us, big and small. I feel that the health of communities relies on the health of our ecosystems, and I am focused on the intersection of community development and environmental science communication.

I am currently project managing the New York City EcoFlora Project: https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/new-york-city-ecoflora

I primarily use Gleason and Cronquist's Manual of Vascular Plants of Northeastern United States and Adjacent Canada and Jennifer Ackerfield's Flora of Colorado for plant ID.

https://www.wildflower.org/ is a wonderful website for plant description and links to external research

Southwest Colorado Wildflowers (https://www.swcoloradowildflowers.com/index.htm) is another great resource, especially for description and pictures.

I use https://swbiodiversity.org/seinet/ for range information.
