I am a professional botanist from South Brazil, currently conducting postdoctoral research. My Master's thesis involved plant ecology associated with volatile secondary compounds, and my Ph.D. dissertation dealt with the systematics, taxonomy, and evolution of the prickly pear cacti (Opuntieae), with a special focus on the southern South American species.
