Having grown up on a lifestyle block in the Waitakere foothills, the work I do now is a continuation of my childhood. This was strongly influenced by my father's ecological leanings and rural farming background.

My volunteer ecology efforts are mainly directed into the Mānutewhau catchment area in Massey, Auckland, New Zealand. My scope of work includes pest plant and animal control, native flora propagation and planting, and clearing rubbish/debris.
