Description

Saxicolous on weather sinter. Locally abundant. Species characterized by the densely branched caespitose thallus studded with subterminal and marginal apothecia and a secondary chemistry of divaricatic acid. The specimens depicted in the images form the basis for the admission of the his species into the New Zealand mycobiota and are cited in the paper below (vouchers lodge din AK, CHR and UNITEC).
