"Everywhere the world is alive, awaiting exploration by those who prefer, if only at intervals, real reality to virtual reality. And as to the wonders of modern technology, bear in mind that a sidewalk weed and a protozoan are each more complex than any device yet invented by humanity." E.O. Wilson, Research professor, Harvard University. (Quote taken from the preface of Keeping a Nature Journal by Clare Walker Leslie & Charles E. Roth)

That's a great quote, thanks for sharing!
Very true!!! Creation is a much larger spectacle then any form of human invention.
Wow, that’s a great quote. It’s so true too! God made things much more complex and beautiful then anything man can create! People do seem to like virtual reality better then actual reality nowadays. Like, a few days ago, I saw a couple of teenage girls who were friends sitting together at a restaurant and all they were doing was looking at things online with their cellphones! That’s all they did for the 30 minutes I was there, looking at phones and they didn’t even talk about anything together. They couldn’t even talk to each other. Now that’s sad. That’s what the world has become of now. Some people definitely need to take a break from virtual reality and get back into reality. Some people think they need to go to a park, a zoo, a conservatory, or a wildlife refuge to see nature. The truth is, you can find Creation anywhere and everywhere! From the hydrothermal vents at the bottom of the deepest oceans to the peek of Mount Everest! Life is everywhere! Even a simple mud puddle on the roadside is crawling with creatures! The roadside itself is an ecosystem! Everywhere we go, there is an ecosystem! There is so much life here, that we cannot escape it no matter where we go. That’s the beauty and splendor of God’s Creation!
