A Flock of Siskins

I could hear birds in the trees, high above the house. Lots of them. Robins barreled through the lower branches, but smaller birds flitted in the top branches. I tried for a while to get a look at them, but couldn't ever find more than a speck, a dark silhouette against the bright sky. Then I noticed some splashing in the water at the bottom of the driveway where a number of the small birds were bathing.
