This, in my estimation, this disintegrated originally cow-patty size scat is about a month old.
You can see the seeds from the cones of the Eastern White Pine tree that it had been eating if you zoom-in.
Same family group as the previous observation, but about one-quarter of a mile along their backtrail.
These animals love to take this route in this area.
Notice the double nail prints in the close-up photos of the two mature animals on the left with the animal following doing a close to perfect direct register of the lead animal.
Also notice in the middle photo the trail of the two to three immature animals to the right, also using a direct register on the lead animals trail, move in to converge with the mature animals to the left as if snuggling at the top of the middle photo.
Canidae grand slam are present in Tatshenshini-Alsek: Red fox, Wolf, and confirmed picture of a Coyote.
I'm leaning towards fox on first impression. what do you think, @beartracker @sydcannings ?
