Played dead when I put it on its back. Then rolled up into a ball.
Numerous, of several types, under a rock ion he moist silty sandy bottom of the platform reef at this particular spot. Very low tide, assisted by brisk offshore wind, but this rock was in the mid to upper intertidal zone so the sun had warmed it up quite a bit (tepid to touch).
This is a general observation with no specific taxon as SUBJECT but I might submit cropped version or similar photos with target species stated if I get time:)
