Only plant growing on a berm at the edge of the road. Had been blooming for months.

Tons of little finches hopping around the trees. Towards the end of the access trail (before you reach the bridge).
The tree squirrels were climbing up and down the trees trying to look for acorns. They also were searching for branches and caring some branches up the tree. They had thick fur and what seemed to be a dark brown colored coat. Based on their claws it seemed as if they were constantly digging because of their claw sharpness. One particular note was that when ever they moved they moved head first.
