On dead wood, unsure what kind.
No red latex like the bleeding bonnet.
White gills. Dark stipe. Gorgeous pinkish purple cap with intricate pale margins.
422" above sea level. Forested area with native plants: herb Robert, hazelnut, Douglas Fir, maple vine, etc.
On decaying wood in forested area.
Growing out of the soil, overstory big leaf maple and Doug fir, understory salal, bracken fern, huckleberry, and blackberry. 3.5cm-9cm cap diameter, attached gills, 7cm-10cm tall.
Found in lowland maritime conifer forest biotope (western hemlock, western redcedar, and Douglas-fir are defining trees.)
