My fascination with wildlife was was molded early in my childhood thanks to a steady diet of animal books, nature documentaries, and family camping trips. This lifelong interest in the natural world led me to study Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Cornell University (Class of 2014). I now teach Living Environment at the high school level in Queens, New York. Previous field work included summers with the Forest Service in Juneau, Alaska (2013) and the Audubon Society in Bremen, Maine (2014).
