On 3 October, the Christchurch perimeter walkway, pioneered by ecologist Colin Meurk and long known as the Meurky Walk, was officially launched as the Christchurch 360 Trail. With the formal launch comes signage, maps, and an elegant booklet filled with the natural and human history you can find along the route. You can learn more at the Christchurch 360º Trail website: http://christchurch360trail.com/
The iNaturalist NZ Meurky Walk project remains the go-to place to share all of the nature seen on the trail. Please help spread the word about the Christchurch 360 Trail and help cement it as one of the gems of Christchurch city.
