Citizen Science Meet Up: Nature Egg Hunt.
Join us on the most unique Easter egg hunt you’ve ever been on. We’ll be looking for eggs of all sorts from snails and slugs to birds and bugs! Learn about the different types of eggs laid in nature, and help us track them for science. We will teach you how to take photos of what you find to help us compete against 16 other U.S. cities during the City Nature Challenge.

Citizen Science Meet Up: Hansen Dam
Helps us compete in the City Nature Challenge by joining us at Hansen Dam Recreation Area to take photos of wildlife. Los Angeles is competing against 16 other cities throughout the U.S. to see which one can document the most nature from April 14-18. Hansen Dam is full of nature so join us for a fun time as we show the Country that L.A. has the best nature!

VISTA L.A. TAKES A LOOK AT PLANS TO TRANSFORM THE LOS ANGELES RIVER.

Longtime advocate and accomplished architect, Mia Lehrer, is transforming the Los Angeles River as part of the L.A. River Revitalization Project.

Gruen Associate, Mia Lehrer + Associates and Oyler Wu Collaborative are set to design a 12-mile bike path to run alongside the river through the San Fernando Valley. The goal is to build accessibility to the river and expand greener spaces for people to enjoy.
